The second in a series of Daylite “Industry Packs” has been released today, this time for real estate professionals. As I related earlier, Industry Packs (previously known as Presets) are sets of preferences that add to or replace your existing preferences.

Unfortunately, there really isn’t much to tell you about what applying these will do. There is a workflow that describes a little bit about what you will do once the Industry Pack is imported, but there is no detailed list of the settings that are applied.

As a Daylite user, I’m uncomfortable making bulk changes like this to my database without knowing the end result. As a Daylite Partner, I’m advising my clients not to apply any Industry Pack until they’ve talked with me about the changes that will occur. In the near future I hope to have an article written that will detail the changes as I see them. Until then, if you do decide to use the Real Estate Industry Pack, be sure to back up your database first.
