DMA Now Loads Plugins
DMA now loads plugins from Daylite, as I discovered when WebConnector gave me an update notice as I relaunched Mail.
Since this was completely unexpected, I first contacted iOSXpert, who confirmed with Marketcircle that this is, indeed, a new behavior. Marketcircle’s response:
Actually we do now load the plugins in DMA, we turned that on primarily so our dialler plugins would work there, but I guess we didn’t figure there would be any unintended consequences for other plugins since we’re not actually loading tabs or adding menu items from them.
Perhaps the best option for you for now would be to add a check to make sure the main bundle is Daylite before you start your update check?
If you’re writing Daylite plugins, this is something to consider.
