Deleting a Single Repeating Task
Repeating tasks are a great new feature in Daylite 5; they’re a great way to make sure you are taking action on a consistent schedule, an important consideration when trying to design systems. Every once in a while you might find it’s not necessary to complete a task—for example, you’ve been to a weekly meeting and there were no visitors for followup. Do you just delete the task?
You’ll find if you delete the current instance of a repeating task that all future tasks will be deleted as well. I suppose that’s to be expected. To delete only the current task, mark it completed first. It will then become a past task and can be deleted with no effect upon future tasks. By the way, you’ll find that it’s not possible to delete a future task at all.
