Daylite 5.0.1 is Available

Daylite 5.0.1 is now available, less than three weeks after the release of Daylite 5, squashing a number of bugs and adding some enhancements.

The full release notes indicate a number of crashing bugs were addressed, but I fortunately didn’t experience any of those. Some of the other changes were welcome:

  • Added the ability to view the objective by clicking on the title in the Not Done Task list
  • Declined, Cancelled and Postponed appointments no longer appear in the Home screen’s Day Calendar
  • Changed the placeholder text for the State field to “State/Province”
  • Changed the placeholder text for the Postal Code field to “ZIP/Postal Code”

And the Daylite User Guide option in the Help menu now leads to the guide for DL5. If you’re on Daylite 5, this update is recommended.

Daylite is still not on the Mac App Store due to sandboxing issues, but my recommendation has always been to use the version on the website.
